ACE's Story

Hi! My name is ace and I am available for adoption. I was brought in by an Animal Control Officer on 09/14/2026 I am a gentle and loving dog who likes to take things slow. I may get nervous in new situations, so I am looking for a family who understands that I might take some time to warm up. Once I get to know you, I will be a very devoted friend! I am a spirited dog with a fun-loving personality! I am still working on my manners, so I would do best with a family who is willing to work with me and help me become the best dog I can be![Size] I weigh [number on scale] lbs and am considered a [large breed, medium breed, small breed] dog. I am a very smart dog! At the shelter I am practicing how to [sit, stay, come, down and shake.] I am an independent dog who likes to do my own thing! I am full of energy and I love to play! I tend to calm down more when the people around me stay calm. I do best when I have lots of exercise and something to keep my mind busy.

Our adoptions are done on a "first-come, first-served" basis so please come in as a walk-in visitor for a meet-and-greet from noon to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. If you would like more information on an adoptable animal please come in during business hours as we will not be able to return phone call or email inquiries. We really appreciate your understanding and look forward to helping you find your new pet!
