Hi there!
My name is Bernie, aka Bernie Kosar. I'm approx. 4 yr old mountain cur tripod with a strong arm and I weigh about 30-35lbs. My orange & brown brindle coat is beautiful and compliments my eyes. I'm not just saying that...others tell me also!
I'm energetic and a cuddler. I love to run across the yard and play with toys and other dogs, my size or smaller, big dogs can be intimidating for me. Don't let my situation fool you, I get along just fine and love going on walks. I'm currently living with 2 cats and 2 small dogs. We all get along great, even with the little snotty one who thinks he's the boss. I'm potty trained, a good listener and I sleep all night.
I didn't lose my arm due to health issues; it was a situation out of my control. I still romp and play just like any other dog.
Unfortunately my mom who adopted me is going thru some health issues and feels it is in my best interest to find a home that can give me the exercise I require. Fenced in yard highly preferred.
PAST NOTES:
Abraham's previous owner allowed him to chew a hot spot on his leg since November and finally brought him to the vet once he amputated his own foot. He had surgery to clean out his wound. He has easily adapted to being a tripod and runs with all the other dogs at camp.
