"Oh my goodness! He's so gorgeous. I just love him." - Everyone who has ever met Abner. <br/><br/>Abner is 12 weeks old. He is a cuddly beagle basset hound mix. This guy is all hound. Iykyk. <br/><br/>Abner is good with other dogs and cats. He could use another dog in the home to help teach him good doggie manners. He is fine with kitties. He only chases them if they run first, but gives up after a quick match with The Paws of Doom. <br/><br/>Abner is working on housebreaking and is NOT a fan of his kennel. At all. He is probably not a good roommate for someone living in apartment. While you may appreciate his stage 5 clinger behavior - your neighbors will likely not appreciate his noise level when you leave. A work from home situation would be great for him. Or someone with a pet friendly office (that's a thing, right?)<br/><br/>We have managed to get him to sleep overnight in his kennel but it has taken a lot of patience and commitment. <br/><br/>Abner is a beagle lover's delight.
