Abigail's Story

Meet Abigail!

At around 1 year old and 48 pounds, Abigail is a Pointer/Pit mix with the beautiful coloring of a Pit Bull and the sweet, fun temperament of a classic Pointer. She truly is the best of both worlds!

Abigail is wonderful with other dogs. She loves to play with anyone who is up for a good time, but she's just as happy to hang out with her older foster siblings. She'll even lovingly groom the dogs she's bonded with—she's such a gentle, social girl.

People are pretty high on her list of favorite things, too. She absolutely adores everyone she meets, and if you mention that it's snack time, her tail starts wagging so fast we're convinced she might take flight one day! Her joy is completely contagious.

This pretty girl has the sweetest face and the cutest little head tilt that will melt your heart. She's house trained, crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash. Abigail gets along with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities, making her an easy addition to just about any family.

If you're looking for a happy, affectionate companion who brings sunshine wherever she goes, Abigail is ready to be your new best friend.

Adoption Info:
All of our animals are fully vetted, which includes spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccines, deworming, heartworm testing and treatment if necessary, current flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchipping prior to adoption.

To start the adoption process, please fill out our application here:
https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/WAG/Dog

Please note:
The dog youre applying for may already have a meet-and-greet scheduled or have been offered to another rescue within our network.
