My name is Abby, and I’m a Black Lab mix. I’m about a year and a half old and a healthy 62 pounds of pure joy! <br/><br/>Want to know the best part of my life? Being outside. Oh, how I love the outside! Feeling the grass under my paws, sniffing all the new smells – it’s just the best. I’m really hoping my new family has a big yard, maybe with a fence, so I can explore safely.<br/><br/>Car rides are another thing. I like them, but only when we’re just cruising around the neighborhood, nice and slow. The highway? Not so much. Hopefully, we’ll find a way to make those a bit better.<br/><br/>I’m a big fan of being busy. Whether it’s exploring the yard or just following my humans around, I like having something to do. And snuggling? I love that too! I’ve always slept right in bed with my family, and I really hope that’s a tradition that continues. It’s so warm and cozy.<br/><br/>I’m a smart girl, too! I know “sit,” and if you’ve got treats, well, I’m all ears. Fetch isn’t really my thing, though. I’m much more interested in anything that moves – birds, squirrels, rabbits – they’re so fascinating! So, I understand if my new home doesn’t have any small creatures living in it.
