ABBIE is young and wanting to learn skills, so we are getting her basic training. Her adopter will be able to get caught up on her basic commands and continue forward, this is a very intelligent dog and she needs to be actively stimulated through exploring her environment, hiking trails or enjoying the bonding experience taking classes with her special person such as "Sniff" or "Find It" classes, she feels satisfied when exploring new adventures. Abbie is learning to trust again and it will take time and patience helping her get adjusted. All Star Fur Pet's Adoption Policy

Potential Adopters are provided an online link or applicants can also request a (pdf) Pre-Adoption detailed questionnaire to be emailed, for manual completion and return. ASFP will ask for a short video of indoor areas where pets are welcome to hang out, have access to the outside yard (terrace, patio, balcony etc), fence perimeter, video of yard and gate. Phone contact is then made to discuss the questionnaire (family acceptance, nutrition, exercise, vetting etc) and a follow up email is sent with comments or recommendations. If acceptable to all concerned, an appointment is made to introduce our furpet to the person. If it is a good fit, we proceed to do a home check. When there are other family dogs, we may ask to do a meet and greet on neutral territory. When all processes are acceptable, a copy of the Adoption Contract is reviewed and established.
