947 (2026) Violet's Story

Adoption Fee: $475

When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped!

What we know: Litter of three surrendered by a local family who did not have the resources to care for the puppies. Puppies are from an accidental litter and reportedly, many dogs from several litters before them are living with the family. The family continues to have accidental litters because they cannot afford spay/neuter. CPR is working with the family to determine how many dogs are present in the home, if they need to surrender any more, and scheduling spay and neuter appointments that will be paid for by CPR to stop the cycle.

From the foster: Violet is the cutest little ball of fluff! She has lots of energy to play but loves to settle in your lap for a cuddle. She is curious about the much larger resident puppy in her foster home and she loves to play with her similarly sized sister! She loves treats and is eager to learn, she's been working on sit already!

Violet is in a puppy pen with her two siblings at night and when left alone. She hasn't started crate training but she is pretty reliable at using puppy pads to go potty. She does think a throw rug looks pretty similar to a puppy pad so will need some patience and training through that.

If you're ready for a little buddy who will bounce right into your heart, come meet miss violet!

www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt
