Adoption Fee: $475

When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped!

What we know: 6.5-year-old spayed female transferred from Espanola Humane in New Mexico. Seized from her home after animal control officers suspected neglect. She was initially estimated to be 8 years old; however, following further evaluation, shelter staff determined that 6.5 years was a more accurate age estimate. Not recommended for homes with cats.

From the foster: Ready for a devoted companion and loyal best friend? Come meet Betty

Betty is a wonderful 6-year-old girl who is looking for a soft place to land and a family to call her own. She has a gentle nature and loves being close to her people, whether she's following you from room to room or relaxing nearby while you go about your day.

Betty is potty trained, enjoys spending time with her humans, and has done well with children in her foster home. She has a moderate energy level and enjoys getting outside for walks, exploring new smells, and then settling in for some well-earned relaxation.

Like many rescue dogs, Betty is still learning that the world can be a safe and predictable place. Each day she grows more comfortable and confident, and it's been a joy watching her personality shine through. She would thrive with a family that can offer patience, understanding, and plenty of love as she continues to blossom.

Betty is ready to trade her foster home for a forever home filled with cozy naps, gentle adventures, and people to love.

www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt
