647 (2026) Sonny's Story
Adoption Fee: $475

When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped!

What we know: Transferred from Skiatook Paws and Claws in Skiatook, Oklahoma at 11 weeks old; litter of 3, one male, two female, fixed and up to date on vaccines

From the foster: This sweet 3 month old baby boy has the most beautiful green eyes. He loves taking a nap in the sun and curling up in a ball on your lap after getting some hugs and kisses, of course .

He gets along with everyone, dogs, humans and kids. I'm not sure about cats because we don't have any but with his calm temperament, I'm guessing he would be fine.

He is sleeping through the night with his sister and working hard at potty training. He is happy to go potty outside when given the opportunity and has learned the doggy door already but still needs reminders, especially after a nap.

It's nearly impossible to get a photo of him with his ears up because as soon as he sees his people, his ears go back in excitement. We aren't entirely sure on his breed but we can assure you he is ready to join a family who wants endless face licks and warm naps on the couch.

He seems pretty intense when eating food and we recommend feeding him alone until this subsides or until you consult a vet about the best approach. He doesn't get aggressive when eating, he just inhales what's in front of him if another dog is present. This has led to a couple choking incidents because he doesn't chew in those situations. He seems much more at ease if he eats without other animals around.

www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt
