640 (2026) Apollo's Story
Adoption Fee: $475

When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped!

What we know: Brother and sister duo transferred from Animal Rescue Friends of Floydada in Texas at approximately 5 months old. Pair came in as an owner surrender, no further information is known.

From the foster: Apollo like his namesake embodies what it means to be such a youthful beauty for a dog. He is a sweet, gentle-hearted pup who came into rescue with his equally adorable sister, Athena. From day one, it's been clear that Apollo is a sensitive soul who thrives with companionship - which is why he'd do best in a home with another furbaby friend to help him continue learning the rhythms of happy dog life.

He's still working on potty training, but this boy is smart, eager to please, and already showing great progress. With a little patience, consistency, and someone who pays attention to his cues, he'll have this milestone mastered before you know it.

Apollo is in a home with 3 other dogs and 2 cats. He is learning that cats have boundaries and responds well to redirection.

Stairs? Apollo says: challenge accepted. What once seemed terrifying turned into a victory he conquered in less than 24 hours with his foster. Now he zips up and down like a pro, proud as can be.

But Apollo's true superpower is his heart. If you're looking for a snuggle bug who melts into your arms, seeks out warmth, and radiates sweetness, Apollo is your boy. He's full of life, gentle in spirit, and overflowing with love he's ready to share with his forever family.

Apollo isn't just looking for a home - he's looking for his person, his pack, and his place in the world. And whoever gets him will be one very lucky human.

www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt
