ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS<br/>FENCED YARD<br/>BREED EXPERIENCE REQUIRED<br/>My name is Betsey and I am in the market for a new family. I am said to be 4 years old. I came from a rather shady past. No real stories of my life before I came to this wonderful rescue. I am a Shiba Inu and my foster mom prefers I have someone with Shiba knowledge. I’m not a super fan of smaller dogs. My foster mom says it’s probably preferred that I be an only. I can tolerate dogs my size and up. But I am super protective of my personal bubble.<br/>And very protective of my kennel space . I really don’t like being locked in a kennel. I freak out. But enjoy sitting in it if my own free will. I’m a sturdy girl weighing approximately 28 lbs. I love my food and treats . I do try to play on occasion . I love being outside in my fenced in yard. And in true Shiba style stubborn about coming in a lot of the time. I love my pets and love from my humans . Not much of a lap dog. I am a runner and just learning a leash and harness. So all precautions must be taken to keep me from running away. ( completely 100% normal with the breed.) I am the sweetest good girl you could meet!! I don’t bark much. I’m pretty chill for a younger gal. I am ready to go to my forever home. My mom says I need a fenced yard.
