472 (2026) Rory's Story

Adoption Fee: $475

When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped!

What we know: Part of a litter of 7 originally at DAS (TX), with 2 adopted prior to transfer, and later transferred to us from Operation Kindness. A local rescue partner in Texas pulled and is fostering the remaining puppies due to space constraints and requested we tag for intake.

From the foster: Rory is one of the fluffy pups in the litter, and just as soft in personality as she is in looks. She may take a moment to settle in, but once she does, her calm and affectionate nature shines. Rory now happily seeks out full-body rubs and ear scratches, soaking up all the love she can get.

She and her littermates have all mastered the doggie door and enjoy spending time outdoors. Rory especially loves sunbathing, carrying her toys into the yard, and joining in gentle play with the other dogs. She's off to a great start with potty training and prefers to go outside-bonus points for salmon treats.

Rory has been wonderful with foster kids (ages 7-13) and the resident dogs. She would thrive in a home where she can be a steady, loving companion-your snuggle buddy and loyal sidekick.

www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt
