370 (2026) Onyx's Story
Adoption Fee: $475

When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped!

What we know: Litter of 3 (2 male, 1 female) transferred from Rebel All Breed Animal Rescue in NM. Transferred at approximately 3 months old.

From the foster: Onyx (370) is a spunky, adventurous little guy with a big personality and an even bigger zest for life! He's the ringleader of playtime with his brother - always the first to zoom around the yard, chase a toy, or start a new game. If you're looking for a pup who will keep you smiling (and moving), Onyx is your guy.

He does well with the 20 lb dog in his foster home and has been around a toddler too - though playtime has accidentally turned into a game of "who can trip who" a time or two so playtime should be supervised with small children for his safety due to his small size. He's still learning his manners, but he's a sweet boy who is already showing how eager he is to learn (especially when treats are involved!).

Onyx isn't quite a cuddle bug yet, but he's starting to discover that snuggles are actually pretty great, even if he shakes at little at first. He's making good progress with potty training, doing really well with puppy pads and regular trips outside, though he's still working on letting you know when he needs to go. Like any teething pup, he enjoys chewing, but he's gentle on fingers and does well when given appropriate toys.

Onyx would thrive in a home ready for a playful, curious puppy who's still learning the ropes. With a little patience, consistency, and a lot of love, he's going to grow into an amazing companion!

www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt
