275-26 (Midas)'s Story

Meet Charlie Bear (now lovingly called Midas 💛)

Charlie Bear, now affectionately called Midas by his foster family (because everything he touches turns to gold), is a gentle and shy boy who is slowly learning to trust the world around him. While he may be timid at first, with a little patience and time, his sweet personality is beginning to shine more each day.

Even though he may be an older pup, Midas has a young spirit—curious, playful, and still discovering new things. He is potty trained and doing well in his crate, but he does enjoy putting things in his mouth, especially clothes and movable rugs. Continued guidance and plenty of appropriate toys will help him thrive.

Right now, Midas is still too nervous for leash walking and will need a patient adopter willing to help build his confidence at his own pace. A home with another friendly, confident dog would be ideal, as having a buddy helps him feel more secure and learn faster.

He would do best in a home with children over 10, as he is sensitive about his face and does not like being grabbed.

Midas is a special boy who just needs time, understanding, and love—and in return, he’ll bring so much warmth and “gold” into your life. ✨
