2620B Sadie - Adoption Ambassador's Story
Meet Sadie
,
Sadie is in the Adoption Ambassador foster program. Foster families take animals into their homes and help them get adopted. This is what his/her foster family is saying about him/her:

Sadie has already proven she’s a fighter... now she’s ready to be someone’s everything.

This petite ~3-year-old German Shepherd mix came to us with a severely fractured back leg and pelvis. After months of healing in a loving foster home, she’s made an incredible recovery and is finally ready to find her forever family.

* Why you’ll love Sadie:

Walks beautifully on a leash (enjoys slow, peaceful strolls up to a mile)
Rarely barks – a calm, quiet companion
Absolutely adores people – sweet and gentle with everyone she meets
Loves lounging in the yard, soaking up the sun and watching squirrels
Smart and treat-motivated – ready to keep learning with the right person
Comfortable being home alone in the main living space

* What makes her unique:

Sadie prefers cozy freedom over crates (they seem to stress her), enjoys soft foods, and has a mischievous streak—like sneaking into the trash cabinet or "borrowing" clothes. With a little guidance, she’ll thrive.

* Ideal home:

A fenced yard (doggie door = bonus!)
Either as a solo dog or with a calm, low-energy companion
Someone patient and engaged who will continue building her strength and confidence

* Sadie is spayed, vaccinated, and currently heartworm positive (on slow-kill treatment).

She’s come so far—and she deserves a home where she can truly shine.

Interested in Sadie?!
