Isn't one who enjoys neighborhood walks though.
Dogs: Yes!
Cats: Unknown.
Kids: Has done well with older kiddos.

Maggie is a recent graduate of the Paws the Block program. After graduation she spent a few days in a home environment where it became clear that it was most likely her first time in a home. Before getting surrendered to the shelter, she likely lived her entire life outside. We are hoping to find Maggie's perfect match where this sweet soul can finally bond and have the chance to just be a loved dog with the opportunity to play and relax. Maggie is a loving, affectionate girl with a huge heart and an even bigger personality. She bonds deeply to her people and truly wants to be with you — whether that means lying quietly at your feet, following you from room to room, or soaking up every ounce of attention she can get.

What we love about Maggie:

Incredibly sweet, loving, and people-oriented

Thrives on human companionship and connection - bonds deeply to her people

Great with kids and friendly visitors

Sleeps soundly through the night when near her person

Playful, fun, and full of personality once given time to decompress in a new environment

Has gone through the Paws on the Block training program and knows basic commands

What Maggie needs:

A slow introduction to her new home - no visitors for at least a week as she needs time to decompress and bond

A consistent schedule - she thrives on routine and structure

A quiet home and lifestyle

Supervision is provided indoors (she’s curious and loves to explore)

A very secure yard & home

Maggie is a “Velcro dog” in the truest sense.
