25-166 Available 10-30-25's Story

Forfeiture. Approx. 5 year old neutered male. Was previously licensed as an American Bulldog. Friendly. Uses the outside portion of his kennel to potty. Unsure of his previous life, as his face is pretty scarred. He was adopted once, however, he did not appreciate the energetic 7 mo old puppy the adopter already had. He also did not appreciate the puppy getting into his food bowl.

Available from the Carroll County Dog Pound, 2185 Kensington Rd. NE, Route 9, Carrollton, Ohio 44615, 330-627-4244.Located southeast of the Akron/Canton area. The pound is open Monday-Friday, 8-3:30, except holidays. The adoption fee is $35 for senior/special need dogs, $40 Standard dogs, $45 puppies and all include the dog license, which will be mailed to you, a 5-way shot, and a microchip. Dogs at the pound are strays and surrenders and are not health or temperament checked. If there is a dog that will be going up for adoption, and more than 1 person is interested, there will be a drawing that will be held at 8:15 the morning that dog is available. Any dog from any pound should be isolated from your pets at home until examined or tested by a vet. All dogs and puppies receive a 5-way shot. If you adopt a dog who has been vaccinated it should not be given another parvo vaccination for at least two weeks. For information on parvo, please consult a veterinarian. The breeds listed are only our best guess. The pound is not able to comply with requests to hold dogs. Thank you. Spaying and neutering offers your pet many health and behavior benefits and lessens the over population of homeless animals who must be euthanized at shelters!
