24-076 Shiloh Cocopuff's Story
I'm in MO:
This girl loves deeply. So deeply that she decided she didn’t want to share her human with the other dogs in the home. Because of that, Shiloh is looking for a fresh start as an **only dog** — where she doesn’t have to compete for love or attention.

And honestly? She’d thrive there.

Shiloh is non-reactive to other dogs out and about, but inside her home she wants her person all to herself. She loves most people, adores her cozy blanket pile, and takes her comfort very seriously. If there’s a soft spot in the house, that’s where you’ll find her.

Handler update at the boarding:
Shiloh has been great with staff and enjoys playtime — sometimes she just gets a little enthusiastic, and they help her regulate when her arousal rises. Totally manageable.

She’s comfortable taking treats in her kennel and happily licks peanut butter off a spatula, but she’s still protective of her kennel space with selected people. No growling, no barking — just standing up with a stiff posture when someone unfamiliar tries to enter her safe spot. It reads very much like:

“Wait a minute... you’re the snack lady. Why are you coming into *my* room?”

It’s not aggression — it’s communication. She values her safe space and bonds strongly with “her” people.

Shiloh isn’t a bad dog. She’s a loyal dog who needs clear structure, boundaries, and a home where she doesn’t feel the need to guard her person. As an only dog, with consistency and someone who understands her heart, she will be an incredibly devoted companion.

She just wants her human. And a really good blanket pile
