ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS<br/><br/>FENCED YARD......they have always had one.<br/><br/>Trixie and Heidi are 14-year-old Poodle/Bichon mixes who recently lost the person they loved. Now they're hoping to find a quiet, loving home where they can spend their golden years together.<br/>These sweet girls are truly bonded and happiest when they're close to their person. They love cuddling, lap time, and if you'll let them, sleeping right beside you.<br/>A few things to know about these adorable seniors:<br/><br/> They get along well with other dogs and even the cat.<br/> Trixie is pee pad trained but prefers to go outside. Heidi usually gets her front feet on the pee pad but doesn't always make it all the way. They don't seem to understand the difference between carpet and potty pads, so patience and consistency will help.<br/> They should be fed separately or supervised at mealtime. Trixie is simply a faster eater and likes to help herself to Heidis meal. There are no food aggression issues.<br/> Both girls need tiny kibble mixed with soft food. Heidi has no teeth, and Trixie has only a few.<br/> They enjoy spending time outdoors—as long as you're out there with them.<br/> Trixie is the more active of the two and has a funny little howl when she's unhappy, whether she's hungry, wants your attention, or simply thinks you've been away too long. Its part of her charming personality and definitely keeps you informed! <br/> Heidi takes no medications. Trixie takes Carprofen for a slightly stiff back leg and we have some that we will send with her.<br/>Both girls are incredibly gentle, affectionate, and thrive on companionship. They don't ask for much—just a warm lap, a cozy bed, and someone to love them for the rest of their lives.<br/>Trixie and Heidi are spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative.
