2 Akita Girls Abandoned in Fremont's Story
These sweet girls were found wandering the 28 Palms neighborhood of Fremont. They definitely looked like they had been out all night, poor babies were wet. They had collars, but the tags were removed. We brought them to the vet and checked for any microchips, but no luck.

They never left each others' side and share a loving, mother-daughter-like relationship. They are fluffy, cute and seem to be trained (they know “no”, “sit”, “shake”). They love to cuddle, play with toys and are clearly used to being around people.

The white and black spotted girl looks to be about 4-years old and she takes care of the black and brown girl who appears to be less than 2-years old. They are very close. Both were clearly well-card for as their nails are perfectly trimmed.

Our neighbors confirmed seeing these two released and left at a gas station in Newark across the freeway overpass at a local gas station on Mowry Avenue by Newpark mall. They were rescued at Azevada Park.

If you are able to provide a temporary or new home for these two sweeties, please contact:
TriCity Animal Shelter
1950 Stevenson Blvd
Fremont, CA 94538
510-790-6645
tricityanimalshelter.org

Shelter Hours:
Wednesday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm
Closed Sunday, Monday and Tuesday

(This listing is to help assist direct placements of rescues that are currently with other rescue groups, shelters or their current owners.
