Meet 16-239 Lindsy
Lindsy #16-239. Arrived 5/23/2016 at 7-8 years old.
Lindsy is a sweet girl who shows us that she is experienced at being a great companion. Lindsy wants to be with you, she wants to be where you are, and she wants to participate in what you are doing. Lindsy likes to play fetch and willingly brings it back especially when a treat is involved! Lindsy is great at catching treats in the air and she is obedient with her basic commands. Lindsy would make a great forever friends for someone who wants to go on walks and have a companion to sit and watch TV with, yet kick up their heels with her here and there. Lindsy is hypothyroid and takes medication daily to control this. Lindsy has shown to be amicable towards other social dogs at events while on leash, but she has shown concern at dogs who present themselves as intense to her. We feel that given Lindsy's age, the high desire she has for food items, the amount of time that she has not lived with another dog, and since she has been attacked by other dogs in her past, that we would not adopt her into a home with other dogs. Lindsy did not do well with cat testing at the shelter. A medium maintenance kind of dog is what Lindsy is, and she would love to have a new place to call home.
