1155 Lotus's Story

Lotus is fostered in O'Fallon MO

Meet Lotus! This beautiful black tri female Border Collie is just 4 months old and weighs 14 lbs. She is SUPER sweet and a little shy. We think she would do best with another dog in her forever home. She came to us from an Amish farm in rural MO.

She is already doing AUSSOME on potty training and crate training. She will need to stay on a schedule to continue to be successful. She takes a ton of cues from the other dogs in the home. There is also a cat in her foster home and she does just fine w the kitty. She is super smart and slowly coming out of her shy little shell. The more she learns, the more her self confidence grows.

Lotus needs an adopter who is committed to her socialization, proper training and the mental and physical exercise required of an Aussie or Border Collie puppy. Lotus has received age appropriate vaccinations, is microchipped and receiving monthly preventatives for fleas, ticks and heartworms. Proof of heartworm prevention for any current or previous pets is required to adopt from our organization. For more information on our adoption process or to complete an adoption application, please visit our website at www.MidwestAustralianShepherdRescue.org.

NOTE: All of our dogs live in foster homes with volunteers so we need an approved application on file to set up a meet with a dog you might have an interest in. Please visit our website for more information on our adoption process, our adoption fees and a link to our adoption application. We pride ourselves on matches that work for both the dog and your family. MASR is here for your support, advice and safety net for our dogs for the remainder of their lives. www.MidwestAustralianShepherdRescue.org
