1091 Trouble's Story

Trouble is being fostered in Plainwell MI

Drum roll please.....introducing this tiny bundle of JOY! Meet Trouble, from the Games litter. This red tri toy male Australian Shepherd is one of 6 pups that came in with his little momma. This group came to MASR from the Orange County Humane Society in Paoli IN after they were found abandoned in a barn when the people moved away. Momma still had a collar and USDA breeding license tag on when she arrived to our foster home. :(

Trouble has a full set off teeth already and our vet believes his date of birth is 1/14/2026. His momma Maggie only weighs 19.2 lbs herself and is a little girlie too!!!!

Trouble is sweet, brave, curious, learning new things each day in his foster home from both the children in the home and the other doggies in the home! His potty training and crate training will need to be continued in his forever home and he will need to stay on a schedule to be successful.

Toy Aussies are still Aussies, just in a compact little frame. Their brains still need to be worked DAILY both mentally and physically (MINIMUM ofd 2-3 hours per day). They MUST be socialized with the world around them or they can become protective and display significant guarding instincts. Socialization for this breed is a MUST.

Trouble is dewormed, microchipped, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations and receiving monthly preventatives for fleas, ticks and heartworms. Proof of heartworm prevention for any current or previous pets is required to adopt from our organization. For more information on our adoption process or to complete an adoption application, please visit our website at www.MidwestAustralianShepherdRescue.org.

NOTE: All of our dogs live in foster homes with volunteers so we need an approved application on file to set up a meet with a dog you might have an interest in. Please visit our website for more information on our adoption process, our adoption fees and a link to our adoption application. We pride ourselves on matches that work for both the dog and your family. MASR is here for your support, advice and safety net for our dogs for the remainder of their lives.
