1001 Wrangler's Story

Wranger is fostered in Waukesha, WI.

These gorgeous boys were found wandering in a county and taken in by the local animal control. Both boys were very shy but have warmed up nicely in their foster homes. Wrangler is estimated to be just under a year old and 35 lbs. He is a blue merle standard male Australian Shepherd with a docked tail.

Wranger LOVES all humans, and is actually quite fond of children. He has been known to jump a fence to visit people on the other side. He is a gentle soul that is insecure with leadership, so being patient and building his confidence would be a requirement of any adoptive home. Wrangler is a bit more of a free spirit than Chevy but both are learning and growing so much in foster care.

Wrangler is crate trained, house trained and has overall good house manners. He would benefit from some confidence boosting obedience training. They are fostered at a doggie daycare foster home and both do well with dogs of all sizes, including cats. Wranger is very food motivated and loves people, so he is VERY eager to please.

Wranger is neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative, microchipped and receiving monthly preventatives for fleas, ticks and heartworms. Proof of heartworm prevention for any current or previous pets is required to adopt from our organization. For more information on our adoption process or to complete an adoption application, please visit our website at www.MidwestAustralianShepherdRescue.org.

NOTE: All of our dogs live in foster homes with volunteers so we need an approved application on file to set up a meet with a dog you might have an interest in. Please visit our website for more information on our adoption process, our adoption fees and a link to our adoption application. We pride ourselves on matches that work for both the dog and your family. MASR is here for your support, advice and safety net for our dogs for the remainder of their lives. www.MidwestAustralianShepherdRescue.org
