He came into rescue when the human child in his home had some serious medical issues and the family just didn't have time for his needs. Bandytt is a black tri male toy Australian Shepherd. Bandytt has some specific needs in his adoptive home!<br/><br/>Bandytt is an adorable little guy, but he will require an adopter who is committed to continuing his socialization. Bandytt is shy, timid and is quite skeptical of new people. He will warm up only after a calm, quiet meeting where there are high value treats involved. For this reason, Bandytt would do best with someone who has some herding breed experience AND another confident, social dog in the home. <br/><br/>Bandytt is crate trained and house trained. He thrives on a consistent schedule. He would do best with an adopter who has a calmer home environment. Bandytt loves car rides, playing with the resident dog (his size) and doing chores with his foster mom. Talk about a Velcro boy!!!! Bandytt is great in the car, has great leash walking manners, and has excellent recall outside (once bonded).
