This is what his foster family is saying about him: <br/><br/> HOW IS SAM STILL WAITING?<br/>Every day, 5-year-old Sam watches other dogs leave for their forever homes while he stays behind, wondering when it will be his turn. And honestly? We don’t get it.<br/><br/>Sam may be a little shy at first, but give him a little time and you’ll discover he’s a certified cuddle bug with the sweetest soul. Once he trusts you, he’s the kind of dog who wants to be by your side, soaking up affection and giving it right back.<br/><br/>- Loves kids<br/>- Loves other dogs<br/>- Should do fine with cats with slow introductions<br/>- Gentle, sweet, and loves love<br/>- Housebroken on a schedule!<br/>- Knows how to use a doggy door!<br/>- Extremely smart and eager to learn!<br/>- Can be left to free roam when away!<br/>- Full of love to give!<br/><br/>This boy has everything people say they want in a dog, yet no one has stepped forward for him.<br/>Sam doesn’t know why he’s still waiting. He only knows that every day he hopes someone will stop, see him, and choose him. Please help us change Sam’s story. The best dogs aren’t always the ones who run up to greet you first.
