Zuko (Neutered) (Photo August 28th 2026)

Zuko is a handsome 8-year old male kitty who was brought to the HSOV on July 12th 2026. Unfortunately, the individual who transported Zuko to our shelter did not provide a location as to where he was found or any information about him ... So his history began the day we first met him.<br/><br/>Zuko has a brown tabby short-haired coat, a long ringed tail, and a sweet chubby face with golden eyes, a brown velvet nose, and long white whiskers.<br/><br/>This older gentleman had a rather rugged appearance when he first entered our shelter, and our kennel techs noted that Zuko had broken teeth, fleas, a wound on one of his ears, and one cheek that was much larger than the other.<br/><br/>Zuko was examined by one of our wonderful local veterinarians who determined that he had an abscess in his mouth and several teeth which needed to be extracted. After the abscess was cleared up, Zuko underwent a dental procedure and was also neutered while he was under anesthesia.<br/><br/>Zuko is feeling like a 'million dollar boy' after he received the medical attention which he desperately needed, and he is ready to find a loving home ... And Zuko now has kissing-sweet breath! (smile)<br/><br/>Zuko was given vaccinations on July 16th 2026 and was given booster vaccines on August 9th. Zuko has also been given flea treatment in addition to Panacur- and Drontal dewormer.<br/><br/>Zuko is good with children, other cats, and dogs. He is litterbox trained.<br/><br/>Zuko is a big boy who weighs 14-15 lbs, so if you love big cats Zuko is most anxious to make your acquaintance.<br/><br/>We hope that a kind individual or family will give this awesome gentleman the loving home which he truly deserves. Zuko would be ever so thankful to be loved and spoiled to his heart's content and to share his life with a special someone.<br/><br/>Happy Update: Zuko was adopted on September 27th 2026.
