Meet Zucchini <br/><br/>3 year old Spayed female<br/><br/>Zucchini is a calm, quiet girl who was recently saved from the Amarillo shelter and is now getting the chance to decompress in foster care. She has been incredibly sweet with people so far and carries herself with a very calm, gentle energy.<br/><br/>As a dilute tortie, Zucchini has that classic sophisticated look... complete with a little bit of resting tortie face. She may look like she's silently judging your life choices, but underneath the serious expression is a very sweet cat who enjoys affection and a peaceful environment.<br/><br/>Zucchini seems happiest somewhere calm where she can relax, observe everything around her, and quietly enjoy being loved on at her own pace. She's the kind of cat who brings a soft, comforting presence to a home without demanding the spotlight.<br/><br/>We're still getting to know her as she settles into foster care, but so far she has been an absolute sweetheart.

At Rebel Animal Rescue, we believe in keeping adoption as simple and welcoming as possible. Instead of strict, one-size-fits-all requirements, we focus on open conversations with potential adopters. We want to learn about your home, lifestyle, and any challenges you might face, and work together on solutions that set you and your new pet up for success. The adoption process starts with a short application, which we review to make sure the match could be a good fit. From there, we arrange a meet-and-greet with your entire family—and for dog adoptions, your resident dogs too. If everyone feels good about the match, we encourage a one-week trial period. This gives you time to see how your new pet settles in. At the end of the week, we’ll finalize the adoption if it’s working out—or welcome the animal back if it’s not the right fit. Our goal is to find loving, lasting homes while keeping the process as stress-free as possible for both you and the animal.
