Zira's Story

Zira’s start in life was anything but easy, but her quiet resilience tells a beautiful story. She is the more reserved of the siblings, with a gentle soul and a calm presence. Zira prefers to take things at her own pace, observing before engaging, and trusting once she knows she’s safe.

She will thrive in a patient, peaceful home where she’s given the time and space to blossom. With consistency and kindness, Zira’s confidence continues to grow, revealing a sweet and loving kitten underneath her shy exterior. For someone who understands that the most meaningful bonds take time, Zira will be a truly special companion.

Born 5/19/25

Zira is FIV+. FIV is a virus that can cause a weakened immune system, but most FIV+ cats live normal lives with no difference in lifespan compared to other cats. FIV is spread only through deep bite wounds or mating, so there’s minimal risk to other cats in the home, especially since Zira is already spayed. Regular vet visits to detect illnesses early are important for FIV+ cats, but many FIV+ cats will live long, healthy lives with little to no symptoms.

If you are interested in meeting me, please contact my rescue family at MeowtownAR@gmail.com to arrange a visit with my foster home!
