Meet Zippy and Elli a male/female pair around 2-3 years old. These adorable tuxedos are dressed for success and would love to find a forever home together. <br/><br/>Elli<br/><br/>Please play with me! My favorite toy is my fuzzy caterpillar on a fishing rod. If I hear its bell jingle, I will come running from wherever I am to chase it wildly back and forth across the living room floor, up and over the sofa, and up into my cat tree, where I like to pick it up in my mouth and carry it down to the floor again. Zippy likes toys too, but we aren’t always sure whose turn it is to play, so we might like it if you play with us one at a time. <br/><br/>I’m the one that’s in charge of making sure Zippy and I get fed on time. When you come into the kitchen, I’ll make sure you remember to feed us by rubbing against your legs and meowing my funny little meow that sounds like I’m saying “Yippee!” I’m a little wiggly, but if you pick me up and pet me for a while I’ll relax and snuggle down in your lap for a snooze, and I’ll absolutely want you to rub my tummy. I like to relax in a basket up high where I can keep an eye on everything. Zippy annoys me sometimes, but when we get the zoomies around 10 am every day we love to take turns chasing each other, and wherever one of us goes, the other often follows. <br/><br/>Zippy<br/><br/>I love attention so much I’ll even let the teenagers in my foster home lug me around in their arms like I’m a baby. When my foster family first got me I had a lot of hairballs, but now that I’ve settled down and they switched me to hairball formula food I’m doing better. They think maybe I was a little nervous at first. I love watching squirrels and birds out the window or from a screened-in porch, and if a fly dares to come into your house I won’t rest until I catch it! <br/><br/>Elli and I are both very smart. We learned right away to only scratch our scratching posts and cat trees and we will only need occasional reminders to stay off your counters and the table. I loooooove lap time, chest rubs, chin scratches, and I’ll be right there with you if you’re laying on the sofa or allow me in your bed.
