Meet this beautiful 2-year-old black kitty with a gentle soul. Recently surrendered due to housing issues, she’s still adjusting to all the changes and can be a bit shy at first. With a little patience and a calm environment, her sweet and affectionate nature really begins to shine. Routt County Humane Society's Adoption Policy

Potential adopters must be at least 18 years old. If you’re interested in adopting an animal, the first step is to complete an adoption application and visit with the animal. If you rent, we highly recommend getting landlord approval prior to visiting with the animal. Our staff meets with you and takes into account the animal’s disposition, needs and behavior and then tries to match the pet best suited to your needs and lifestyle. Adoptions are done on the same day so your furry friend is all ready to go!
