Zinnia and her six siblings were born on June 8, 2026, just 24 hours after their mom, Marigold, arrived in foster care—and only 72 hours after she was rescued from life on the streets. <br/><br/>Zinnia, one of only two females in this large litter, is a confident, adventurous little girl with a playful spirit. She loves to roughhouse with her siblings and is always on the move—running, climbing, and finding new ways to get into harmless mischief.<br/><br/>Her unique coat features more spots than stripes along her sides, and she has an adorable little "cow belly" that makes her even more irresistible. While she enjoys cuddling for a little while, she's simply too busy exploring and playing to stay still for long. Her sweetly curved ears hint that Zinnia's mother may have been an American Curl — though as a stray, her story remains a mystery. All we know is that they make her look adorable!<br/><br/>Zinnia is looking for a home with another young, playful cat to keep her company, or she would love to be adopted alongside one of her still available siblings Mallow or Snapdragon so they can continue growing up together. <br/><br/>NOTE 1: Spays, neuters, first vaccinations and vet checks are included in the adoption fee.<br/><br/>NOTE 2: Because a young kitten needs feline companionship, it is the policy of Cat Rescue Network that kittens 6 months or younger be adopted out in pairs unless there is another kitten or young cat already in the home.<br/><br/>NOTE 3: Cat Rescue Network only adopts their cats to homes in the National Capital region of Canada.
