Ziko's Story

Ziko is looking for his forever home!

In March of this year, Ziko made the long journey from Egypt to the United States. In Egypt he was a street cat who unfortunately had an act of cruelty bestowed upon him which resulted in amputation of his tail. He now has the cutest little nub!

Ziko is approximately 2-3 years old. He's a very sweet and loving cat but understandably with his past he is shy at first, especially around new people he doesn't know.

He enjoys pets on his head but gets a little nervous when the rest of his body is pet, until he gets to know you. He has beautiful fur that is super soft! His favorite activities include lounging on the couch on a heating pad (aka being a couch potato!), cuddling up by his foster mom, gazing at the birds through the window and chasing and playing with any toy that moves or that he can provoke to move!

He likes other cats and wants to be friends with them. We think he would do well in a home with another cat- friendly cat. He would also be okay as the only cat in the home if he gets lots of love and attention.

Ziko would do best in calm, quiet home with a patient adopter who understands it might take a little bit of time for him to come out of his shell once he's in a new environment.

Ziko is neutered, up to date on vaccines and is microchipped.

If interested in meeting him please complete an adoption application at the following link:

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfliBTV4y98tz4gLNxVSqg1Y5ZruQTg-0cBUEct_590GfnW9Q/viewform?fbclid=IwAR221hYUXC77udO5ozIVPBGndga6_hvgx3VaPtzcooj
