All interested people should submit an adoption application as their first step.<br/>Meet Ziggy - the sweetest old man you'll ever meet. He is a laid back and relaxed guy who really just is happy to be alive. He is easy going and just wants some pats here and there and a warm bed with a blanket to sleep on. He is a little overweight but we are working on that - nothing too crazy! He is just about 18 years old and is looking for somewhere he can just relax and be loved for the rest of his life. He is looking for a quiet home without too much chaos. He would do fine with a relaxed cat or possibly a small, cat-friendly dog. He came to use with another resident cat that he lived with for the last 6 years. As they are not bonded and do not have to be adopted together, we would be over the moon to send them to their forever home together!<br/><br/>Check out Lucy - the cat that Ziggy came to us with and currently lives with in his foster home.<br/><br/>All pets adopted from GDHS are spayed or neutered, have vaccinations brought up to date, are on heartworm preventative (dogs), FIV/FELV tested (cats) and microchipped.<br/>The Greater Derry Humane Society does not have a physical shelter, and all visits are by appointment only.
