Zephyr has had quite the adventure: Protective of her unborn babies, she managed to evade capture for quite some time before FINALLY being brought into rescue, where it was discovered that one of her back feet had been badly broken. How she was still able to run like the wind is beyond us, but is a real testament to her strength and determination to keep her babies safe!

Once she was back indoors and being treated like royalty, she slowly began to show her sweet and affectionate nature. She gave birth to five beautiful babies and did a great job caring for them until they were ready to leave her side, and is now ready for a forever home of her very own.

Her broken foot was too badly mangled to be saved, so it was removed to improve her quality of life. She does not need any adaptive equipment or ongoing veterinary care for the foot / rear leg, but does need to remain an indoor-only princess and would appreciate a quieter home with experienced owners who can help her feel safe and secure.

She is very shy with new people and places, and will need patience from her new family while she gets over her new home jitters. She has a strong dislike for being in a carrier or a kennel, and is not shy about letting us know her feelings.

Adoption fee is $150, which includes spay/neuter, current on vaccines, microchip, dewormed and free vet visit to be used within 5 days of adoption. Felv/FIV negative.
