Meet Yule, a 10-year-old silver tabby with a heart of pure gold. While some seniors prefer a quiet retirement, this distinguished gentleman has spent his recent months busy with a very important job: being the ultimate "foster dad" to 8-month-old Pearl. Yule is the definition of friendly and gentle. He greets every day with a soft purr and a calm presence that makes everyone around him feel at ease. Pearl, a sweet and playful young soul, absolutely adores him, and he has taken her completely under his wing—grooming her, teaching her the "ropes" of being a house cat, and providing her with the confidence she needs to shine. Pearl is learning to love life indoors. When she came to us, she immediately sought out a cat to help her navigate her new surroundings. She chose Yule, and the two have been constant companions since. Will you open your home to this adorable pair?

Save Kitty Foundation's Adoption Policy

Potential adopters complete an online application. All applications are then reviewed and potential candidates are contacted for a phone interview/conversation to ask/answer questions, determine if the cat is a good match for their home/family, and then discuss next steps. If both sides want to move forward, we ask for a video tour of the home and also any relevant medical records for their resident cat. Additional conversations often follow - suggestions for addressing potential hazards in the home (e.g. poisonous plant). If everything checks out with those two items, the adoption is approved and adopter is given information on supplies to purchase.
