He quickly warmed up to his foster parent and discovered that he loves being pet. He greets them with a silly little smile and stretches out his head to request pets and chin scratches, which he can’t get enough of. <br/><br/>He’s currently trying to figure out how to sit in laps, and likes to flop down next to his foster parent’s legs and purr, or rest his head on their foot for a quick nap. He enjoys playing with the worm toy, catnip mice, and plastic springs. Yukon loves being around other cats, and must have a young, playful cat companion in his adoptive home.<br/><br/>What Yukon is looking for in a home:<br/><br/> - He’s new to indoor life with humans, so he needs a kind and patient guide to help him continue adjusting. Loud noises, fast movements, and strangers make him nervous.<br/> - He needs an already established resident feline friend close to his age to play with and model good cat manners. <br/> - He feels at ease in a quiet and calm environment. <br/> - He has a positive history with dogs.<br/> - He has no known history with children.<br/><br/>All Alley Cat Project’s cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated prior to adoption.<br/><br/>Alley Cat Project adoption fees are:<br/><br/> - $200 per cat or kitten<br/> - $350 for pair of cats or kittens<br/> - $50 for senior cat (over 8 years old)<br/> - Flexible reduced fees for a cat with a chronic medical condition that requires ongoing care<br/> - Additional charitable donations are appreciated and support our overall rescue efforts<br/><br/>Thank you for your interest in adopting Yukon!
