Yuki's Story

Yuki is a stunning Siamese who has come a long way since being abandoned and surviving outdoors with her (multiple) litters of kittens. Her babies have found homes, and now this sweet, soft-spoken girl is ready for a forever family of her own. Yuki is shy at first, but once she feels safe, she becomes deeply affectionate and incredibly loyal. She loves people and will happily follow you from room to room like a little shadow. Her favorite place is curled up on your lap for a nap, and she brings a calming presence to any space she’s in. She’s an easy, relaxed companion—no destructive behavior, consistent with her litter box, and she only gets the occasional, charming burst of zoomies. Because she prefers a quiet, predictable environment, Yuki is looking for a quiet home with no other pets. She truly thrives when she can be the center of someone’s attention. If you're looking for a peaceful, loving companion who will reward your patience with endless loyalty and warmth, Yuki is ready to meet you.

Yuki has FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), which is a manageable condition that affects a cat’s immune system. With good care (a healthy diet, indoor lifestyle), FIV+ cats can live long, healthy, happy lives. It isn’t spread through casual contact, so FIV+ cats can safely live with other cats as long as everyone gets along and there’s no serious fighting or deep bites.

To apply for adoption, please complete our online application: https://www.jotform.com/mobykitrescue/adoption-application.

If you have already submitted an Adoption Application online and would like to be considered for Yuki, please let us know at MobyKitRescue@gmail.com.

If your application is selected and approved, you will be contacted and put in touch with her foster family for a meet and greet.

If you submit an application and do not hear back, don't worry! Your application will still be kept on file in case and can be used for other cats that become adoptable.

The adoption fee is $200 and includes the following: spay/neuter surgery, rabies vaccine, distemper vaccines, deworming, microchip, FeLV & FIV testing, deflea and vet examination.

Moby Kit Rescue's Adoption Policy
All interested individuals MUST complete an application to be considered for adoption. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, however it is strongly encouraged to only submit an application once you are interested in a specific cat(s) that we have advertised as adoptable. Cats are not adopted out on a first-come, first-serve process. Instead, we focus on the best fit for each individual cat and their adoptive families. This process is intended to ensure a long-term successful adoption for both the family and pet. As a small, all-volunteer rescue, we do not have the bandwidth to process all applications that come in. The applications are kept on file, however they are not processed until a compatible cat is matched and then put on hold for you. If your application is selected for a particular cat, we will reach out by email to confirm. Occasionally we will reach out with other options that are also a good fit for your home and family. Please note that we receive a high volume of applications - particularly for kittens - and do not have a cat for every applicant.
