Yosi (short for "Yosemite" )

Meet Yosi (short for “Yosemite”) ! Yosi is a gorgeous, dilute calico kitty with excellent timing! She gave birth to a litter of beautiful, healthy kittens, on Mothers’ Day, and is now getting ready to enjoy the kitten-free life! Yosi was trapped from one of BCC’s managed colonies and was discovered to be very friendly, and very pregnant! Her kittens were born in a BCC volunteer's home before she could be spayed, and she with her kittens were moved to a foster home the very next day. Yosi took it all in stride and was the perfect mother to all 4 kittens, who are now in fur-ever homes.<br/><br/>When Yosi was finally separated from her last two sons, she was placed in a different foster where there are three other cats. At first things were a little unsettled, but now it's all good. Plus, Yosi is now the loving companion of a human toddler who moved in. While she doesn’t really love cuddles, Yosi is very tolerant, and will accommodate your need to snuggle her, but only on her terms, for a short amount of time. While not a “lap cat” she is very sweet and will come right up to you to ask for affection! She enjoys sitting next to people, especially when she is receiving head and chin scratches! <br/><br/>Yosi is a young adult cat, probably less than 2 years old. She is beautifully socialized and would do well in a home where she has people to talk to and keep her company. Yosi and her kittens were fostered in a home with older kids and a medium sized friendly but loud dog (interactions are limited). She is not a fan of loud dogs and would probably do best in a laid back environment. Yosi is spayed, vaccinated, snap tested for FIV and FeLV, and microchipped.
