Yoda [courtesy post]'s Story

Yoda is one of a litter of four born in April to a longtime community-cat queen in Ridgecrest, Vallejo. He and his siblings spent their first weeks exploring a spacious yard near open space before coming indoors at around 11 weeks old.

Yoda is a sleek black kitten with a thoughtful, independent nature. He’s easy to tell apart from his larger brother Pluto thanks to his striking eyes and expressive ears. Energetic and athletic, Yoda has impressive jumping ability and loves interactive play—especially feather toys and laser pointers.

Once he knows you, Yoda responds to his name and will gladly approach when called. He’s also trained for a top-loading carrier, making trips much easier. Though he enjoys his independence, Yoda is vocal, observant, and forms warm bonds with people he trusts.

Yoda will thrive in a home that appreciates a bright, agile, inquisitive kitten with a little spark and a lot of personality.

Consider adopting a pair of kittens, as a kitten with a buddy will improve their lives in the long run, while also making your life easier. Contrary to popular belief, two kittens are actually half the work of one!

Pluto is neutered, microchipped, and has all his services up to date (rabies & fvrcp vaccines, and tested FELV/FIV), so he is ready for his forever home.

Pluto's adoption will not be affiliated with SCFOA, but will go through his foster home directly.
