DOB 02/05/2025<br/><br/>Meet Yindee, a year-and-a-half old neutered black male of Oriental shorthair extraction. He exhibits all the traits of the Oriental Shorthair in both physical characteristics and temperament, as well as the Siamese characteristics, that are the foundation blood of the Oriental Shorthair.<br/><br/>He is easygoing, confident, and friendly; and he loves to cuddle and kiss. He is partial to jumping onto your back and laying down it if you bend over in his presence. He also loves to ride around on your shoulders. He loves to be in the company of his human and often tucks his head to hold it against your body. Sometimes, sitting on your lap isn't enough for him; he will scooch around and work himself up to your chest, draping himself and fitting his body to you. As a sleeping aid, he is the best! He will quietly sleep with you and cuddle for hours. He may surprise you by rearing up behind you and holding your hips while he rests against your legs, holding you in a big hug. He is truly an endearing little companion.<br/><br/>Yindee is highly energetic and needs lots of toys and furniture to help him burn off energy. Due to his energy levels and bright mind, he needs someone who is patient and has a good deal of experience with cats and will know how to work with him.<br/><br/>Yindee is bonded to his sister, Mali, who is his almost identical twin. They will do best in a household with no other cats. Adopters must live within **one hour of Silverton, Oregon**.<br/><br/>Adoption Fees<br/><br/>* **$100** — Adult cats (12+ months)<br/>* **$150** — Kittens (under 12 months)<br/><br/>All cats adopted through **Silverton Cat Rescue** are spayed/neutered, FIV/FeLV tested, microchipped, treated for fleas and worms, and have received age-appropriate vaccinations.<br/><br/>We are **not first-come, first-served**. Our goal is to match each kitty with the *purrfect* home.<br/><br/>Silverton Cat Rescue is a volunteer-run **501(c)(3) nonprofit**, and all cats live in foster homes.
