YANKEE was rescued across the street from a certain Bronx baseball stadium. More of a Mets fan? He won't mind. But he's not a fan of other cats and does need to be a solo kitty. Yankee is devoted and fun and awesomely sweet, affectionate, and well-behaved.

The Bronx Tails website is another way to get an adoption application for YANKEE. Pandemic protocols are part of the Bronx Tails adoption process.

All Bronx Tails cats are spayed/neutered (when age appropriate), vaccinated, tested for Feline AIDS and Feline Leukemia (negative for both unless otherwise noted) and are litterbox reliable and loving toward people.

We require adopters to fill out an application, have basic references checked, allow a home visit via video tour (to ensure conditions are safe and reasonable), and pay an adoption fee. We allow all adopters a 2-week-long tryout period to determine if the cat is a good match for them. We will also help with tips and methods for introducing the cat(s) to other pets, if needed.
