Xavier's Story
Introducing Xavier, a showstopper in every sense of the word! This striking black and white longhaired tuxedo cat is a true beauty with his silky coat and majestic presence. Arriving at ARF in mid-March alongside his sister, Miss Fliss, Xavier is still adjusting to shelter life, but he's ready to find a patient, loving home where he can truly blossom. While they don't have to be adopted together, we always like to share when siblings come in together in case you're interested in keeping them as a pair!

Xavier is a little shy at first, but we completely understand why. Being transferred between shelters can be a confusing experience for any cat and Xavier is no exception. However, once he's given time to settle into his new home, he'll reward you with a quiet, loving companionship. He may find comfort in the presence of another confident cat, especially one who can show him the ropes and help him feel more secure.

A key part of Xavier's charm is his gentle and reserved nature. He'll need a patient adopter who understands that he may take time to open up, but the bond he'll form will be well worth the wait. If you're willing to take your time and let Xavier approach things at his own pace, he will become your devoted friend for life.

A Little About His Name:
Xavier's name comes from the Spanish word "Xavier", which means "new house" or "bright." True to his name, Xavier is looking for a fresh start and a loving home where his light can truly shine. His calm demeanor and striking tuxedo coat will definitely light up any room he enters!

A Note About His Care:
Xavier's beautiful long coat will require regular brushing to keep it free of tangles and looking its best. If you enjoy grooming and want a buddy who will appreciate the extra care, Xavier might be the perfect match for you.

If you're ready to offer Xavier the loving, patient home he deserves, please reach out to ARF today to learn more about this gorgeous tuxedo cat!

The shelter is open Tuesdays through Fridays 3:30-6:30pm AND Saturdays & Sundays 1pm-4pm. No appointments are needed during those times. If you are not available during those times, special arrangements for a meet and greet may be able to be arranged by emailing arfcats@bereaanimalrescue.com. Thank you for considering the adoption of a shelter animal in need!
