Meet Wynkin! Wynkin is a beautiful black cat with a playful spirit and a heart full of love—once he gets to know you. He can be a little shy at first and needs some time and patience to feel truly comfortable. But once he settles in, his charm and sweet nature shine through. This lovable boy has a playful side that comes out in full force when toys are involved—especially if there's a feather wand or a crinkly ball nearby. He’s also known for his silly antics and unexpected moments of affection, like surprise head nudges or curling up next to you when you least expect it. Wynkin adores other cats and would thrive in a calm home with another friendly cat. Wynkin is looking for someone who understands that the best friendships take time—and are totally worth the wait. If you're ready to meet a cat who will make your heart melt with his quiet sweetness and playful spirit, Wynkin would love to meet you. Wynkin is currently at our PetSmart location on Woodward. Animal House of South East Michigan, Inc.'s Adoption Policy

When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment. Our adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten $195 for a pair of cats or kittens Please note that we do not do same day adoptions and all adoption fees are non-refundable. AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We are also flexible if more time is needed to determine if its the right fit. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
