Wreck-It-Ralph (FIV+)'s Story
Wreck-it-Ralph came to us as just Ralph...but his name evolved after a short time in his quarantine cage, when he well....wrecked it.

He loves people and he quickly realized that if he wrecked (messed up) his cage, someone would be by to clean it back up.

Like his animated name sake, he really is a gentle giant. Since free roaming in our FIV+ room, the only thing he wrecks is a bowl of wet food. He LOVES to eat!

He gets along with the other cats in the FIV+ room as long as they dont push his boundaries.

Wreck-It-Ralph is 5 years old, neutered, vaccinated, negative for FeLV, litter trained and microchipped. He is positive for FIV but please don’t let this deter you from considering him for adoption. FIV+ cats can live long and happy lives. FIV cats can reside with dogs without any concern. FIV+ cats can reside with other friendly cats who are either FIV + or FIV-. FIV is transmitted only through deep bite wounds, typically during mating. FIV is not transmitted between cats from sharing food/water bowls or litter boxes. FIV is not transmitted between cats during mutual grooming.

Get the facts - save a life - adopt an FIV+ cat.

You may complete and submit an adoption application through the Sanctuary at Haafsville’s website:
thesanctuarypa.org

Email adoption inquiries to the Sanctuary at Haafsville at:
catadoptions@thesanctuarypa.org
