Woodsy's Story

Woodsy was found in the middle of the road in mid-November; injured and turning circle after circle. We believe that he could have been hit by a car. His face was swollen and we feared irreversible neurological damage; we weren't even sure if he was going to survive.

Day after day, Woodsy began improving. His wounds healed and his recovery was going in the right direction. So, that leads us to telling you now that Woodsy is adoptable! He sure had the will to live.

He is turning out to be super social and Woodsy always wants food or treats! He loves to eat! He hasn't shown as much interest in playing with toys just yet, but you never know how he will be once he is in a home environment.

We could see Woodsy wanting to watch birds and butterflies out a nice bay window. We could also see him finding the warmest sunrays to nap in. And the best thing about Woodsy is that we could see him making someone's life so much happier...that is exactly what he has done to ours.

Woodsy is about one year old and he is neutered. We're still monitoring his behavior around other shelter pets. Please check back or give us a call!
