Wolfie's Story

Here's the thing about Wolfie - I love him! If my house wasn't already full of animals I've acquired after years of rescue, he'd stay with me. He's very special.

Wolfie was born on 4/25/23 to a friendly mom that was found abandoned. Wolfie and his siblings were loved and handled by humans from the moment they entered this world. All this cat has ever known is love and is super social and handleable. He greets me at the door the moment I am home, never lets me forget mealtime and is my sweetest boy.

Wolfie was raised with his sweet siblings but I often find him sleeping on his own, he has an independent streak to him which is why I would be comfortable adopting him out as a solo cat; which I rarely do.

Here's why I love Wolfie and consider him so special:

- Wolfie is super friendly, everyone is his friend.
- Wolfie is going to grow up to be a big boy, he's a big floppy sweet boy that likes being held and cuddled.
- Wolfie does running jumps onto my lap and excitedly lays down purring loudly.
- Wolfie has never once used his claws on me!! He's very gentle.
- Wolfie is playful and smart, he remembers his human friends he hasn't seen in awhile and swirls around their ankles.
- Wolfie is a super cuddle bug, his favorite place will be your lap.
- Wolfie has the loudest purr and the softest fur.
- Wolfie lived with a gentle border collie dog for 10 days, he was nervous of the dog at first, but after a few days, became very comfortable being around a dog.

My neighbors heart will break when Wolfie gets adopted, he goes to visit her every morning and I hear her scream with excitement every time.

About you/your family: Loving and gentle looking for a cat they can pour tons of love and attention on!

Sound like the sweet boy for you? As our California beach town has dramatically gentrified over the last 10 years, combined with the effects of the pandemic, many lower income families have left their homes - and their cats, behind.
