Witney's Story

Hi, I'm Witney! I'm a sweet orange tabby with white female born approximately 10/07/2016. My story has had a few twists and turns, but through it all, I've never stopped being affectionate, playful, and ready for a second chance. I was originally adopted from Wild Blue Cats as a kitten. Years later, after finding myself back in the rescue world, I made my way home to Wild Blue Cats once again. Now I'm ready to find the forever family I've always deserved.
If there's one thing you should know about me, it's that I absolutely love attention. Head pets, cheek rubs, scratches, and affection are some of my favorite things in the world. I'm known for giving sweet head bonks, purring happily, and soaking up all the love I can get. I also have a playful side! I enjoy wand toys, ribbon toys, fish toys, mouse toys, and even chasing a chip toy around. Whether we're having a play session or snuggling together, I'm happiest when I get to spend time with my people. I can be a little nervous in new situations and sometimes need a bit of time to build confidence, but once I feel comfortable, my sweet personality shines through. Even as I enjoy being around people and love having visitors stop by to spend time with me, I've also shown that I can be a bit sensitive to overstimulation at times, so I'd do best with a family that understands cat body language and will let me take things at my own pace when I need a little break. I think I'd do well in a family with respectful kids, or maybe even a gentle doggie buddy, as long as you follow Wild Blue's introduction procedures. I am not a huge fan of other cats.
What I'm really looking for is a patient, loving home where I can finally settle in, play with my favorite toys, collect all the pets I can get, and spend my days being your loyal companion. Could you be the happy ending I've been waiting for? If so, please fill out an adoption application at www.wbcats.org/adopt. I'll be waiting with a happy heart and a loud purr!
