WITCHY POO's Story
Have you ever felt misunderstood, outcasted, and without anyone in your corner? Witchy Poo certainly has. For the first 13 years of her life, she had someone who loved her, understood her, and advocated for her. Witchy Poo's elderly owner struck a fine balance between loving Witchy Poo as she was and treating her anxiety with a daily medication to help her enjoy life with less fear. All of that comfort, care, and medication stopped abruptly one day when it happened: Witchy Poo's owner died. We can only imagine how scared, confused, and distraught Witchy Poo was. Her whole world turned upside down, and she was eventually trapped and brought in to us to find her a new home, someone who will pick up where her owner left off, and love her for the rest of her life. Witchy Poo was unmedicated, unhappy, and unwilling to let anyone get close to her. Enter: a foster who stepped in and gave Witchy Poo a chance to get back on her feet and show her true personality. For the first 12 hours at her foster home, Witchy Poo hid, but after that? The real Witchy Poo, the one her owner knew and loved, showed her true self -- and what an absolute lover girl she is! Witchy Poo enjoys playing with toys, but what she REALLY loves is a lap to lay in! She purrs a lot, and she has a loud, croaky meow that's impossible to resist! Witchy Poo prefers to file her nails down by using a scratching post, and she shows her affection by giving nose boops to people. To top it all off, Witchy Poo has excellent litter box habits! Witchy Poo is ready to find that special someone who will take it from here. She would do best in a calm home where she can get lots of lap time, play time, and love! A nice window to watch the world go by would be the icing on the cake for this sweet girl! Understand that Witchy Poo may need some time to adjust, but the payoff is worth the wait. If you would like to meet her, please send an email to her foster at sliva_liza@hotmail.com and set up a meet and greet today!
