WITCHY POO's Story

Meet Witchy Poo — a gorgeous nearly all-black kitty with a mysterious name and a heart full of love. This beautiful girl found herself in this predicament through no fault of her own. We may never know what she did to earn the name Witchy Poo, but one thing is certain: she’s an absolute love bug. At 13 years young, Witchy Poo has perfected the art of companionship — affectionate, calm, and happy to spend time with her people. After arriving at her foster home and getting about 12 hours to decompress in a quiet room, Witchy Poo quickly showed her sweet personality. She’s very approachable and loves petting and brushing. During her first week with her foster mom, she even allowed her nails to be trimmed — a pretty big sign of trust! Did we mention the nose kisses? Witchy Poo gives the sweetest little nose boops. She also has a playful side and enjoys chasing a string or batting at a battery-operated butterfly toy. Her favorite activity, though, is sitting on her foster mom’s lap while purring loudly. Witchy Poo is starting to explore more of the house and gains confidence when she sees her foster mom nearby. She’ll happily greet you with her adorable loud, croaky meow — it’s impossible not to smile when you hear it. She also enjoys relaxing on a perch and watching the world go by through the window. A few more things you might like to know: Witchy has excellent litter box manners She enjoys a variety of yummy treats She consistently uses a scratching post She’s confident and not easily startled She isn’t a fan of being picked up just yet and will give a polite hiss to express her opinion She has the cutest spread-out toes on her back feet Compatibility: Cats: Slow introduction recommended Dogs: Slow introduction recommended (she wasn’t overly concerned about a 45-lb dog nearby) Kids: Teens or older who respect a cat’s personal space and won’t force interactions Witchy Poo would thrive in a calm home where she can enjoy lap time, gentle play sessions, window watching, and plenty of affection. She is currently in a foster home. If you are interested, email sliva_liza@hotmail.com to set up a meet and greet!
