Winter's Story

Winter Available for Adoption

Winter is a GRADUATE from BFFs sponsored feral cat program. Hes been a regular at our sites since before 2020. After he was fixed in 2020, he was returned as he seemed 100% feral and needed to go back. However, after 6 more years of street living, he is done and ready to live the rest of his years as an indoor only kitty.

Winter is a beautiful, well-behaved kitty with excellent litter box habits- he is not a fussy eater, and is very low maintenance. He is comfortable being seen by his humans, but nervous about new people - he prefers to have one or two hiding spots that he can observe from - and he will let you know if you approach too close to him with a firm, non-threatening, hiss. It has taken Winter some time to settle in and his new owner should expect the same, but he has come such a long way since arrival. Winter is a special cat who needs a quiet home, patient people, and time to feel safe. In time, we expect him to enjoy being petted; until then, he'll happily gaze deep into your eyes and simply enjoy being in your company. He has been hospitable with the other foster cats, so a home with another cat should be fine after a slow introduction.

Winter is approximately 8-9 years old, neutered, combo tested negative for both FeLV & FIV, and up-to-date on all his shots. If you are interested in meeting him, contact Boston's Forgotten Felines on Facebook or at catadoptions@bostonsforgottenfelines.org

Our Mission
Boston streets are flooded with homeless cats and kittens. Some were abandoned, while others are feral (offspring of those abandoned cats.) We are the Feral Cat Warriors who fight to help them survive every single day. Our aim is to ensure that feral cats have a stable and safe shelters, food and medical attention as needed...
